Mark Brown has put in a much improved performance on recent weeks but this still hasn’t been enough to make the cut at the BMW International in Munich. Brown started badly with a bogey from the right hand rough on the tenth but recovered well from a hook well left on 11 to make par. He regained some patience and played beautifully tee to green but the putts didn’t drop, despite a much improved putting stroke. With the cut looking like 3-under and Brown at 1-under, his missed putt on the par five sixth (his 15th hole) was costly. He scrambled well to make par on seven but left his tee shot short on eight making bogey. At level par with one to play he had no option but to try make the green in two to have a chance at eagle and get to 2-under par. Alas, he found the hazard and made bogey for a round of 74 and a weekend off. Click here for full scores.
