It looked to be another grim day for Mark Brown at the WGC HSBC Champions in Shanghai as he slipped to three over par after five holes thanks to a bogey on the first and a double on the fifth. However Mark hung in there and had a fruiful back nine, making four birdies to get back to one under par and currently a tie for 27th place in a classy field. Mark made 11 of 14 fairways and his all round game was solid as he posted an under par score in the first round for the second time in his last eight starts. Come on Browny.
