Mark Brown has proven his status as ‘the people’s golfer’ in fronting up for the Samsung Whitford Pro-Am at Whitford Golf Club in Auckland, New Zealand. After failing to make the top 60 on the European Tour Money List and the rich Dubai World Championship, Mark has returned to New Zealand to have some time off ahead of the 2010 season. However Mark has not yet packed away the clubs an unpacked the jandals as the 2008 New Zealand Golfer of the Year will play in the two day event this Saturday and Sunday, one of the NZPGA’s pro-am tournaments.

Hey Browny Just touching base with you in regards to your 2010 season and when you are in Abu Dhabi, Dubai. I am staying in Abu Dhabi with my parents and will be here to the end of January. If you need a caddie or a place to stay let me know. If I dont hear from you I will probably see you down at the golf. Cheers Jonny D
